My name is Sándor Tóth, he is a member of the Bojlis diary team. According to the calendar, it's March 1st, and the chosen water for this short trip is none other than the Arizona Carp Lake. You should know that the lake closes its gates for the winter, and I also came to the lake for the opening. Hoping that the fish will have a big appetite after the winter break. I planned 48 hours of fishing on position 1. This place is located in front of the conservation area, and I chose this place because I thought that the fish would be in the smaller water at the back of the lake (I thought very well)! I arrived at the lake at 12 o'clock, after a quick change of permit I started to the fishing spot, but the weather was not really kind, strong wind and rain greeted me. After a quick unpacking, the first thing is always to sharpen the sticks. I took the entire BN bait palette with me for fishing. I changed three stick tickets and chose the tactics by tying different bibs on all 3 sticks! I tied a fluocarbon d-rig on my left rod, on which I put the Squidruzz boilie, and a citrus popup in size 20 for relief. I tied a blow back rig on my middle rod, a Kriller 2.0 boilie in size 24 with the corresponding krills popup. On my right stick, I knitted a plain bib, made of fluocarbon, on which I placed the Chili-Plum boiler in size 24 with the accompanying popup. I set off to look for places, and I found a promising place for my right-handed rod, I found a hard plate, I placed the middle rod on about 10 cm of mud. Finding a place for my left stick took a little more time, since I planned the part before the rescue, but I only found 40-60cm of mud, but it was worth it, because I found a place where 15cm of soft mud was replaced by a hard layer. The first bites arrived shortly after pulling in the rods, which was a double bite, one of the applicants was lured to the Chili-Plum boilie, and another to the Squidruzz. The one that was placed in front of the conservation area had to be quickly reached by boat, because it started towards the reeds and after a long fight I saw the fish and my hand started shaking because I knew it was going to be a big fish. After successfully bagging, I started to go outside, by then the other fish had already been bagged, it was an 8 kg mirror. When I reached the shore, I called the fish guard, because you have to call for any fish over 20 kilos, and I was sure that the fish exceeded 20 kg. After releasing the hook, I quickly put it in the water with a float scale. Upon arrival, we quickly weighed the fish and quickly re-weighed the scales, the exact weight of the fish was 19.80 kg. We even let him back after taking photos.

I didn't expect what happened next either, bite after bite, fish of all sizes kept coming to the Chili-plum boil.

What I noticed was that more large-bodied fish came to the Sqiudruzz boiler from the safety front. The first night I didn't really manage to sleep, the fish kept coming, mostly the smaller ones, and the middle of the lake was working. The next morning, the fish were not so eager to catch, but I still managed to catch a few fish, which were between 7-10 kg. This may be due to the high wind and the fact that the weather has cooled down even more.

In the afternoon, the fish started just as well, the change was that the middle of the lake almost stopped completely, I could only catch fish with the left rod in front of the conservation area. At night, some nice fish came, but specifically only from the left rod.

I woke up in the morning to beautiful sunny weather, but there was no bite anymore. After packing, I left the fishing spot at 11. In conclusion, despite the cold water, I have very good fishing behind me, with nice fish. What I can filter out is that there were more bites with the bib that was tied with fluocarbon. Bojlik exceeded expectations, which proves that I caught 20 fish, of which 10 fish were over 10 kilograms, the catch was over 200 kg.
